Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Part Four was worth the wait, eh?

It’s a funny thing about environmentalists…or…world-without-humans-ists. They won’t admit to being leftists. But while it really isn’t that hard to stir up some of that left-on-left infighting (Hillary vs. Obama, last summer, for example) you seldom to never see it happen between the enviros and other leftists.
That’s because they all share the same goal: Humans should humble their own way out of existence. The human race needs to dig a hole, jump in, and pull it in after itself.
- mkfreeberg | 05/21/2009 @ 09:00Why do I get the feeling that I could create the exact opposite guilt trip if I presesnted facts my way. I’d be making every nine-year-old upset that they weren’t at a job, or learning a trade, or defending property rights, or buying more legos, or asserting their individuality. You catch my drift.
I’m glad the critic of these videos introduced the concept of risk. It’s so central to business, capitalism and to the success of these United States that it simply should be taught as a class in grade school or high school (possibly too late there). I wish there were a better term for risk, because invariably those who don’t understand how it applies to our economy only see the word risky, never just the word risk. Consequently, the leftist’s fear-avoidance reflexes will always trigger a hatred of all things risky and therefore all things American (as originally defined). Proof is in the videos: they are attempting to cure a fear problem, and the consequences of those changes would never be given a fair hearing (as evidenced by the portrayal of greed). Remember, those that see only greed fail to see a return on investment for the exposure to risk.
- wch | 05/21/2009 @ 14:21The Tides Foundation is the most influential group in the U.S. (possibly worldwide) in shaping public opinion favorably towards far left, progressively liberal social and government policy decisions. The are a collection point and clearing house for billions of dollars from the heavy hitters in the foundation business – think Ford, Carnegie Mellon, Gates, etc. They coordinate and disperse these fund to NGO’s, think tanks, PAC’s, unions and a wide variety of very savvy leftist activist groups.
These people are extremely dangerous and very effective in forwarding their agendas under the radar.
