Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
It has a lot of dust on it…and there’s no one particular recent event that makes it any more relevant now than it was before. Just want to get it into the database.
And, as always, it bears repeating:

Hey, I know, let’s elect them, Cuomo, to be the new governor of NY, my state and of course, the man-child, Barack.
Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound, Morgan.
Just love Barry saying, “The original idea was a good one…”
No if fucking wasn’t! What more possible proof do you need, shithead, that it wasn’t? Banks were, and are, very good at figuring out who to lend to. You see, BO, It’s. Their. Job. Not some community organizer with absolutely no experience in anything, much less finance, banking…only earning a living that’s not paid for by tax payers.
The whole host of democrat losers, (sorry for the redundancy) were in on this, Carter, Clinton and Obama. Could someone, anyone, give me and example of such a financial disaster that the republicans were at fault for? ‘Cause I’m getting fucking tired of the “there’s no difference between the parties” BS that is being tossed around so nonchalantly lately.

Bingo. Says it all.
This is where the progressives do their greatest damage. It includes damage done by progressives who have genuinely good intentions, and the damage can be seen by people including those who don’t give a rip about R and D: Progressives regard it as heresy to even consider the idea “You know…this whole direction might very well be a mistake.” They fall for the Jurassic Park thing, so captivated were they with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should. They go there time after time after time.
I’d like that to be a 2012 campaign theme. The goal should be, someone who has been personally helped by a program that is overall damaging, will say “yeah sure my situation was improved…but…if it screws everything up down the road, and I end up being one of the people who can’t get work because the economy sucks, then I don’t see the point.” We’re supposed to be all into the mindset of hey, we’re all in this together…I’d like to see the GOP challenge that.
If it isn’t alright for a rich guy to say “fuck all the rest of you, I got mine,” then poor people shouldn’t be able to say that either. Or at least they shouldn’t want to.
- mkfreeberg | 01/21/2011 @ 13:14You mean like this?
Like I said, I’m not letting them off easy any more. Specifics, or shuddupa-ya-pie-hole.
I ain’t impressed with your “progress”.
In the Alinsky world, change is constantly the goal. You know, one would think they’d like “global warming”. I mean, who is content with the status quo, eh? Species going extinct? Evolution. Change, man. Get behind it. It’s progress.
