Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
To The Blog That Nobody Reads.
It’s been a privilege getting to know you nobodies who somehow can never quite find the time to not stop by and not read anything. Hope you keep disappearing into the woodwork for a few more years.

Happy blogoversary!
Regarding your last entries I notice you call yourself a software engieer. In my stated attempt to somewhat debunk the Global warming hype I need a program. I wish to take a photo of a gloriously nude pornstar, run it through a filter which will take 110 pixels at roughly equal intervals over the photo, and expand those pixels to represent the entire surrounding area. The result should look like a flesh tone checkerboard. My challenge will be to Identify the star, or even the pose she’s in. Know anyone who can help?
- Tom The Impaler | 11/13/2008 @ 10:10Congrats, it’s my pleasure to…not read your blog…not comment…
- tim | 11/13/2008 @ 10:40I don’t get it. Any of it. Where am I?
- Andy | 11/13/2008 @ 11:36Say what?
- vanderleun | 11/13/2008 @ 14:24Color me gone.
- chunt31854 | 11/13/2008 @ 16:32I don’t read this now more than I did before.
- rob | 11/13/2008 @ 18:03Congrats, Morgan. Long may you rave! 😉
- Buck | 11/13/2008 @ 19:37Congrats on the anniversary – I feel guilty when I don’t read your posts in a timely manner. It’s like I’m late to a party. And it seems rude; you obviously spend some time coming up with your words, and I don’t get to add my $.02 until a few days later, if at all. I hope you check back on older post comments.
- wch | 11/14/2008 @ 16:10Bill,
I’m notified on each and every single one, whether my moderation is needed for them or not.
You’ve authored some of the best, and when they’re particularly good I see to it that they receive a proper, fresh audience.
I mean, as best I can…an audience out of the nobodies.
- mkfreeberg | 11/14/2008 @ 16:56Self-abnegation is a turn off. I enjoy all your posts except that kind. I self-abnegate on occasionand when I do, those near me are less interested in being around me.
- Shannon in AZ | 11/15/2008 @ 04:41Actually it isn’t self-abegnation, derogation, deprecation, or anything of the like. There is a far deeper meaning to it; it’s got to do with the tragedy of people saying things to get attention, and spewing craptacular nonsense as a direct result, and our ambition to avoid doing such a thing around here.
I would add that we’ve been scolded for the “Blog That Nobody Reads” thing, going all the way back to the very beginning when it was really true. Such outbursts arise only occasionally; they are probably sharply outvoted, but at any rate, and I don’t mean this to be unkind, but I don’t really care. If it’s a bad thing to do, and it’s a majority-viewpoint that it is, then that means there are a whole bunch of people who can start their own blogs and show me all the other bad habits I should be avoiding, which would mean there would be a whole bunch of other good ideas being exchanged. Which would be great. But that’s only if they follow-up…
