Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Gemma Atkinson and Holly Weber.
Once again — everyone looks awesome and wonderful in lingerie/bikinis. It comes down to faces: Gemma is not only more friendly-looking, but possessing of a girl-next-door undertone not reverberating from her counterpart.
What a shame for Holly. I can’t think of a way to improve on that bombshell of a figure — not by so much as a fraction of an inch. But these chins and noses that could cut through glass…I don’t know why they’re so popular. Kind of a turn-off. They suggest a lack of proper nourishment, and an unhealthy adoration of female qualities that civilized people aren’t quite so quick to adore. Perhaps that’s unfair, but like they say; you never get a second chance to make a good first impression.
Gemma 1, Holly 0. Them’s the breaks.

Is Gemma the one on the left, the blonde?
In that case, I concur absolutely. It’s not even close. Her figure appears slightly thicker, which I find more appealing anyway, the face is prettier, and oh…those boobies. Those. Boobies.
- cylarz | 09/24/2009 @ 23:08Yea, what cylarz said.
Holly looks a little too skinny, plus those hooters don’t fit her frame which leads me to believe they’re fake. Me not like the fakies.
Bingo, Morgan, on the “possessing of a girl-next-door undertone not reverberating from her counterpart.”
- tim | 09/25/2009 @ 05:51Gemma all the way. I know it’s kind of trite, and most people are lying when they say it, but Holly there really is too skinny. The main problem I have with the scrawny ones is that self-inflicted emaciation is just too much of a goofy trend. There’s no dignity in it. Anyone can stop eating and snort coke, but if you can live well and still look good, you’re my girl. Still, Holly is welcome to meet me at Hooters for some wings and beer.
- Andy | 09/25/2009 @ 08:58Holly? She’s about 15 pounds from being irresistibly attractive. But even then, you’d have to figure she must be some sort of head case to do that to herself.
Gemma? Wow. A full figured, beautiful woman who’s comfortable in her own skin. What’s not to like?
- pdwalker | 09/26/2009 @ 10:31[…] Weber, contender in last week’s contest, is challenged by Famke Janssen’s co-star in Goldeneye, Izabella […]
- House of Eratosthenes | 10/02/2009 @ 03:18I know this is an old thread, but I had to throw in my $0.02
Gemma 100%
She is incredibly beautiful. IMHO she is about as perfect as a woman can get. She has it all, beautiful face, incredible body (I love a woman with curves), and she has the self confidence to be proud and show it off. Holly is just too skinny for my taste. I’m not into fake looking skinny things that I’d be scared to break by giving her a hug. So please ladies, don’t call yourselves “fat”, or starve yourselves trying to fit some stereotype of what is “in”. There is nothing more attractive to most men than a woman who is comfortable with who she is. To most men, real women have curves, be who you are and be proud of it!!!!
