Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Holly Weber, contender in last week’s contest, is challenged by Famke Janssen‘s co-star in Goldeneye, Izabella Scorupco:
It’s a little bit of an unfair contest since I’ve not seen Holly Weber act in anything.
But Izabella’s performance was amazing, so I’m gonna give it to her, although both ladies are feast for the eyes.

I have to go on sheer style and body language here. I’m going to have to go with “I”. I don’t like the way “H” is holding herself… the pose, the sunglasses. I like eyes. Sunglasses cover them. Not that sunglasses are necessarily a bad thing, but … if you’re going to hide them in a single-photo throwdown, it’s gonna work against ya. Plus the bikini wrap is tres feminine, and I like feminine. Perhaps “H” should have submitted a different photo.

- tim | 10/02/2009 @ 06:11This makes me want to watch Goldeneye again. I’ve been playing the game recently, a classic.
Oh, ahem, yes, back to serious stuff. Hmmm ahh, hmm, yes. I agree with your choice Morgan.
- KG | 10/02/2009 @ 10:13You guys make me feel bad for this poor girl. Yeah she’s a little on the young side and she’s a lot on the thin side, but she does have a wide-hip look that exonerates her a little bit if she’s not going to be picking up any samriches any time soon…and she can really take a decent picture when she’s a mind to. Here she is a two-time loser, and really you can do much worse than Ms. Weber.
Having said all that though, looking over multiple pictures of each — I stand by the decision. Izabella is quite the looker as well, and will beat Holly every time.
- mkfreeberg | 10/02/2009 @ 10:29Hey, nobody’s sayin’ Holly’s ugly. Not by a loooooooooooooooonnnng shot.
- philmon | 10/02/2009 @ 12:57I. She’s slim and trim without looking bony and famished.
H needs more cheeseburgers to round out what is otherwise an excellent frame.
