Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
From the list-master, John Hawkins, writing at Townhall.com:
1) The Party of Infanticide
2) Excusing Horrible Liberal Behavior Toward Women
3) Demeaning Stay-At-Home Moms
4) Savage Attacks On Conservative Women
5) Helping Criminals By Disarming Women
Yup, Bill Clinton gets mentioned. I’ve noticed liberals have begun to stigmatize any mention of the former President, save for glittering banalities such as the ones involving mythology about a Clinton economy or some such thing…you’re not supposed to mention that he was “credibly accused of rape,” almost certainly qualifies under any clinical definition of a sexual predator.
So we’re about to start discussing the Lewinsky thing again? Good, I say. We had a predator as our President for eight years. Yeah, something should be made of that. Enough of a ruckus to actually change something. That’s not what I saw back in ’98 to ’99.
As for the rest of it, well, the liberalism we know today is a public policy agenda. It is not a crusade for human rights. That’s just the packaging, not the content. And you can see by how they treat Sarah Palin, how much they care about women being represented in the ranks of power.

I find it interesting you can’t bring up Clinton’s faults, but when Obama gets criticized, it’s always “Oh, yeah? Well look what George Bush did!”
- IcelandSpar | 02/15/2014 @ 07:28The Hillary quote? The one about Monica being a narcissistic loony tune? She’s basically saying Monica and Bill were made for each other.
- Rich Fader | 02/15/2014 @ 13:20Well rich, there’s the whole projection thing too.
- CaptDMO | 02/16/2014 @ 06:47Well Rich, there’s the whole projection thing too.
- CaptDMO | 02/16/2014 @ 06:49Not limited to Ms. Clinton though.
“3) Demeaning Stay-At-Home Moms
4) Savage Attacks On Conservative Women”
Reminds me how they first attacked Palin for neglecting her kids for working and then running for VP.
Then fast forward 4 years to them attacking Ann Romney for “not ever having a real job”.
Wait…what…???
- tim | 02/17/2014 @ 14:10tim,
this is why I consider Memento one of the most important movies ever made. He can’t form any new memories, so every new day is a complete blank to him. Every day he has to rediscover his purpose, and recommit himself to his white hot burning hatred for someone he doesn’t even know, and can’t possibly remember twenty minutes from now. He has no idea what he’s tried before, or how it worked out, and he’s physically incapable of learning it. But none of that stops him from literally committing murder, because “justice” or something.
It’s like being inside a liberal’s head for two hours.
- Severian | 02/17/2014 @ 15:58I would add #6 – Fostering women’s dependence on government to provide for them. In this day of women’s equality it is shameful to suggest that women need the government to provide their birth control, abortion, housing, food, child support, medical care, education etc. It is shameful that the government allows fathers to abandon women and children and forces other men and women to support the sex partner and offspring of males who will not stand up and act manly.
