Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Happy Easter, eh?

- bpenni | 04/24/2011 @ 12:26Happy Easter, too! I hope ya got a chocolate bunny. Or two.

There is? Well then perhaps I am commenting outside my field of knowledge.
So when you talk of leagues and ballparks, are you saying Labatt’s is on the higher end? Perhaps this calls for research…although I must say, my curiosity is not exactly piqued here.
- mkfreeberg | 04/24/2011 @ 12:37It’s Canadian beer. (Labatts). Some people I know think it’s da bomb.
It’s ok. Frankly, I haven’t had it in a while, and I can’t remember much about it outside of that.
- philmon | 04/24/2011 @ 14:49I went up to Toronto for a fraternity convention in ’83. The U of T chapter had mass quantities of Labatts Blue, Labatts 50 Ale, Molson Canadian and Molson Export Ale iced down, in the old stubby bottles. Basically Bob and Doug McKenzie’s idea of heaven. “Beauty, eh?”…Canadian for “Good times.”
- Rich Fader | 04/25/2011 @ 12:10Labatt’s was the beer o’ choice when I lived in Dee-troit, where it was (relatively) cheap; these days it’s priced as a premium here on THPoNM. I still enjoy a sixer now and then but it ain’t in the regular rotation. Give it a shot if ya like pilseners; it’s damned good for mass-produced beer.
Required Resident Pedant™ remark: Note the label: It says LABATT Blue, not “Labatts Blue.” Ergo, when one talks about the beer, one must use an apostrophe “s” in its name. Or just say “Labatt.”
