Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
There is, of course, another responsibility we have to our children. And that is the responsibility to ensure that we do not pass on to them a debt they cannot pay.
— President Barack Obama, during the State of the Union Address, after promising a litany of February-Christmas goodies that would have embarrassed Clinton, Carter, LBJ and maybe even FDR.
Update 2/26/09: Welcome, Instapundit and Lucianne readers. Take off your coats, pull up some chairs, and stay awhile.

And then there was Michelle Malkin, who wrote on Twitter:

4:57 PM Feb 24th from TweetDeck Admittedly, it got longer when she started on the blog, lots longer.
I can’t figure out if he actually believes what he says or he just counts on the majority of people who listen to him not knowing the truth.
Either way, we’re screwed, hard and long (and not in a good way). It’s almost as if he is intentionally damaging this country. And I’m not just referring to the spending; it’s the foreign affair mishandling that is even more frightening and potentially threatening.
I’m trying not to overreact and keep some perspective and not let my bias get the better of me but holy crap, its mind boggling the amount of sh*t that is hitting the fan and most people are just focusing in on the “stimulus”. Example: cutting the defense budget! Are you effing kidding me! We’re at freaking war you community organizing ninny!
Rant over and no, I don’t feel any better.
BTW, nice graph or whatever it’s called.

- sherlock | 02/26/2009 @ 10:39Do you plan to submit this to GraphJam or some other website that collects diagrams like this?
I encourage you to do so. Give us a link to it and I’ll vote for it.

- louisianadeb | 02/26/2009 @ 11:20I too am trying not to over react lest I get like a deer in the headlights. Tin foil hats aside; an economically depressed/oppessed citizenry are easier to control than an economically liberated one. One hit from our enemies due to the organizer’s passivity and we will be in deep doo-doo.

- Venn Obama’s Speech is Visualized… | 02/26/2009 @ 12:40Words only matter if there’s something behind them. The stock market minders are listening to what BHO is saying, and they are selling because his words betray his actions, and know he’s trying to snow us.
They imagine two nasty scenarios: one, people ignore his deeds and choose to believe his words, allowing socialism to arrive without fanfare, or two, people realize he’s a two-faced idiot who flailing about without a clue, and will play defense financially until a grown-up takes the wheel.
In other words, words matter, but not the way BHO thinks they do.
- wch | 02/26/2009 @ 12:44I get truly depressed everytime I hear/read the words that BHO and his minions say on a daily basis. Then I try to remember that hopefully we will survive until 2010. Praying that Conservatives win enough seats to once again be in the majority. What also runs through my mind is that ‘AMERICAN’ still ends in “ICAN’.
- Dustbunny | 02/26/2009 @ 12:55“ICAN”, not “WECAN” … which sounds an awful lot like … “WEAKEN” … hmmm. Maybe we’re on to something.
