Basically, in the age of Obama and this Counter Enlightenment; his bumbling, stumbling, rambling leadership that is marked by his administration’s continued wanderings in search of a coherent and understandable policy on anything of importance, I have noticed that liberals have a pattern. You may have seen this.

To wit, the liberal philosphy in a nutshell:

If you are black/white/hispanic/asian/LGBT and we agree on anything in politics or values = good person

If you are black/white/hispanic/asian/LGBT and we disagree on anything in politics or values = evil racist bigoted hate speaking Oreo Uncle Tom hatemonger who must be destroyed.

The fact that the Dinosaur Legacy Media act as if we don’t see it makes me LMAO even harder.

The people whose freedom liberals say they love the most are in grave danger. Gays are being killed in Iran. Women are being oppressed in every nation where Islam is a majority. Minorities of all kinds are being slaughtered around the world. Liberals and Progressives have chosen to defend that longing for freedom that those people crave by the aggressive use of speeches and the high minded proposition that everyone must first be safe from uncomfortable ideas, followed by complaining about states asking for photo ID to vote being a racist idea and about how we need to pay even more attention to race in order to be equal in a country that elected a bi-racial man from a single parent household raised by his white mother to the highest office in the land…. Twice.

Hey, speaking of the amygdala — loving gestures mean less than nothing to enemies who actually want to destroy your way of life. Which is why liberalism is unsustainable. The only concept of “defense” these itty bitty fluffy bunnies have is: Outgrouping. The Cave Pussies will band together and point and hoot until Og the Hunter shares his mastodon shank. In the microcosm of the cave, point-and-hoot is an effective strategy; being outgrouped means death (or, at least, inability to reproduce).

These days….not so much. Getting pointed and hooted at by a group of Whole Foods Pussies is a source of pride for a lot of people. “Rejection of the decadent western liberal bourgeoisie” has been a team builder for revolutionary movements from Marx to Mao, Hitler to Boko Haram. Point and hoot at these guys all you like. They’ll take it as yet more proof of the righteousness of their cause – a major part of which, of course, is stoning the pointers and hooters to death.

Your endless go-rounds with the Cuttlefish are actually an amusing illustration* of this. They simply don’t, won’t, can’t grok that the type of person who would approvingly quote “George Washington” on government doesn’t give one watery milligram of a crap what the Mount Vernon Association of Blah Blah Blah has to say about it. R-selected little bunnies that they are, they think that disproving the attribution negates the statement. If they can reduce the attribution from “George Washington” to “some guy,” then “some guy” can easily be outgrouped. At which point he’s an unperson, and what he says doesn’t matter, because the only things that have meaning to rabbits are what’s going on in the warren.
