Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
J. Christian Adams writes in Pajamas Media:
Why, just this year you’ve passed … uhm … you’ve passed … well … you’ve passed … a lot of time on a horrible health care bill. But, in the pipeline, you’ve got … a bill about climate change. OK. Well, let’s look at what’s being talked about on the long-term horizon, and that would be … immigration reform and a possible path to citizenship for illegals.
Mr. President, I respectfully ask … what the heck are you thinking? Do you have your head in the sand or in a place that up ‘til now I really thought was physically impossible?

Haven’t anyone besides me been listening to Rush lately? He’s explained this quite clearly.
Obama, Pelosi, and Reid know they’re going to get their clocks cleaned in November in Congress, and may even lose the presidency in 2012. So the Democrat leadership agrees that a sham-nesty bill is needed before November so that millions of now-illegal Latinos will become voters by then. So that they can step into the booth and pull the lever for the Democrats, thus blunting (or even preventing) their losses…which will be caused by that tidal wave called the Tea Party.
Duh.
- cylarz | 04/27/2010 @ 23:55cylarz is correct. 0bama and the dem congress know about the discintent roiling the land. The mistake people make is to believe that they care.
They Do Not.
So, they are attempting an end run around us. It won’t be in place by November, unless they shred the Constitution beyond all… Wait, who am I kidding? Of course, they’ll try for it.
However, I believe that they will fail. The last two years of this term will be a real slugfest. I just hope enough RINOS can be picked off (McCain) to stop Barry from implementing his social template.
To be sure, Washington’s ‘caring’ about the hoi palloi typically does not extend past November in election years, regardless of party. However, this is the most egregious example of ‘the public be damned’ method of governance I’ve yet to see.
