Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Well, the big day is here. Win or lose, I don’t expect this hearing will last more than a couple minutes; I’m just not that important. But everyone who knows me well enough to be forced to reckon with my day-to-day life-happenings is expressing more than a casual interest in how this thing is going to turn out; truly a case of an irresistible force meeting up with an immovable object.
You’ll get the conclusion first, back-story later.

My first guess … he’s going up against a “Gun Panel” to see if he is a worthy citizen of the People’s Republic of California to exercise his right that was guaranteed to him by amendment #2, but yet has been tepidly enforced over the years to where now you are guilty until proven worthy.
But it’s just a guess.
- philmon | 08/17/2009 @ 07:29Good luck!
- Daphne | 08/17/2009 @ 07:58I’m with Phil.
- bpenni | 08/17/2009 @ 08:18I don’t know anything, but I’m sure you did something terribly wrong. BURN!!!
I mean, uh, good luck. The gun thing seems likely, given the Christmas Story reference. I would still rather see you in the bunny suit.
- Andy | 08/17/2009 @ 12:35Where’s the backstory already, it’s 3 your time. I’m getting nervous. Did they lock your ass up? Should we be raising bail money?
How’d the rest of all y’all get your blog linked to your name? My login granted no such powers. Are you being all misogynist again, Morgan? I know I’m the token chick over here, but come on, I know you love me some.
- Daphne | 08/17/2009 @ 14:59You have 3 syllables in a row – spam filter Morgan set up goes crazy for that, thinks you’re Croatian.
- Andy | 08/17/2009 @ 15:10Bite me, Andy. A Croatian pro with no writing creds, maybe. Shit, maybe I’m the local hose queen with a removable set of dentures.
- Daphne | 08/17/2009 @ 15:15Heh. Who needs a back-story? The comments work just fine for me. 😉
- bpenni | 08/17/2009 @ 16:26Yeah, easy for you to say Buck, you’re already snicked up propper.

- House of Eratosthenes | 08/17/2009 @ 18:00And of course, thats’ what I love about Morgan’s blog. “Girls In Bikinis Reading Star Wars”.
Well … it’s ONE of the things I like about his blog.
Anyway, maybe I was wrong. Looks like he’s in jail.
Damn flag@whitehouse.gov ….
