Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
…in everything he says, about anything. I mean the dude does talk about capitalism and money an awful lot. He must know something about it, since he’s a great big fat rich capitalist guy & all.
I just hope it doesn’t get me into any kind of (logical) trouble. Like so —

Why does Moore’s incoherent ranting sound so damn familiar?

Problem with all of these things are they are skewed to the left or to the right.
But we never see none focusing on the people..

I was a proud card carrying member of the GOP for the majority of my life.
Problem is, people like this guy and myself are unraveling things that have nothing to do with humanity.

Something to think about if you are willing to look at both sides of the story.

I’m not sure how pointing out how that confiscating every major source of wealth in the entire country, still wouldn’t fund the government even for a year.
The out-of-control spending (and reckless borrowing that goes with it) isn’t a “right” or a “left” thing. In fact, I think it’s something of an indictment of our electorate that anyone would see it that way.
Why isn’t the Left alongside is in calling for fiscal restraint, even if they disagree with us on the priorities and specifics? Instead, the only time they even bring it up is when the subject is tax cuts or national defense…and then, only if a Republican is president. The rest of the time…hey, throw that money around and everything will be fine!
Unlike them, we’re consistent and simply want to push the government back into the boundaries imposed by the Constitution as well as by common sense.
Feh.
