Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
We think of them as friends, and we have high confidence that we are right in doing so. Their happiness is ours. Join us in lifting a tall cold one for them.
I Think Therefore I Err has a fifth blogoversary. Congratulations, and we look forward to five more from you.
Buck Jr. is stateside. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And welcome home.
Cassy’s own hero is making an honest woman outta her. So tack another one onto the list of reasons why he’s a better man than I am. In response to the question that was specifically asked, my answer is that a real woman drops the maiden name. But on that front, Cassy has nothing left to prove. You two are both lucky and doing alright.
Enough talking. Hoist ’em!

When I saw the title of this post (buy some extra rounds), I first thought you were talking about ammunition, and I thought, “Way ahead of you, Morgan. You don’t want to see my stockpile.”
Now I realize you meant beer, and even then only in the figurative sense. How disappointing.
- cylarz | 04/08/2010 @ 23:04Yea, I was on the same path as cylarz (Oh, I got rounds)…ayways congrats to all.
- tim | 04/09/2010 @ 05:45Both kinds of rounds are important. And the folks for whom I’d like to buy a few extra of those kinds of rounds, come easily to mind believe-you-me.
I’m just sick of talking about it. Happiness is naturally contagious, so let’s catch some.
- mkfreeberg | 04/09/2010 @ 06:38Thanks, Morgan. Much appreciated.
- bpenni | 04/09/2010 @ 07:02I was on the ammo path, too. Especially since finding 380 ACP has gotten so difficult I finally bought dies and bulletts for my reloader.
But brass, and especially PRIMERS are hard to find. I’ll get ’em, though.
Heard about Cassy. Coudln’t be happier for them!
Which reminds me, I should pick up a bottle of burboun on the way home. It’s gonna be a long weekend (guess who I’m driving home this weekend? 8 hours in the car tomorrow with my favorite progressive. No, the burboun is for AFTER we get there! 😉 )
- philmon | 04/09/2010 @ 11:47Why don’t you marry her, Morgan?
It’s so clear that you love the woman beyond measure.
- Daphne | 04/10/2010 @ 20:54She’s a little outside the boundaries. I’d have to be given the heave-ho (since the one I have now, I’m keeping ’til she’s done with me.) And then Cassy would have to be on the market, and then there’s the matter of age. The delta, it’s a bit much for me I’m afraid.
She and Matt come from the generation that put Obama into office. I guess I’m just at that point of life where you start to look at the next wave-of-folks, wanting to see some encouraging signs. And it means something to you when you finally find ’em. Well, they’re the signs. It’s really hard to be more deserving of a toast than that.
