Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Headline speaks for itself. But the article is worth reading too. Confusing “love” with respect is a mistake that’s been dangerous since the beginning of the human race.
They love Him like a pit bull loves a bloody rag.
Here’s my worry about Obama. Lots of people love him and he is indeed very lovable. But I wonder if anyone at all, anywhere in the world, really fears him.
Ever stop to think what a different world we’d have if democrats “fought” terrorists the way they fight conservatives?
I just have to include the video making the rounds…stop-motion of our “loved” President, and His unchanging, creepy smile.
Barack Obama’s amazingly consistent smile from Eric Spiegelman on Vimeo.

Are you kidding? I’m terrified of the guy and what he’s trying to do to our economy, culture, health care system, and gun laws. It’s very frightening.
But you probably meant in a foreign-policy sense. As in, don’t screw with the USA or Obama will do thus-and-so the way Reagan and Bush and Bush II could be counted on to do?
- cylarz | 09/29/2009 @ 12:17I call it the Sorority Smile.
Sorority girls, and when they’re full grown women too — can be in the sour-est, dour-est, pissy mood but when a camera points at them, *bllllllllllllinggggggg!*, there it is. “Click”, and the smile can drop right back to the sourpuss look. It’s amazing. And it’s always the same smile. It always looks just underneath “forced” to make you wonder, but since it’s always the same one, you get a pretty good idea that it’s there for the camera and that’s it.
