Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Michelle Malkin wants to know and she has reason to ask:
I’m still on the road and our wonderful guest-bloggers will be dropping in again today and tomorrow. The hate mail is on an increase again thanks to my outspoken defense of Arizona’s immigration enforcement measure. Too many to choose from, but here’s a typical response:

subject The color of your skinDear Michelle:
I have never met you or heard from you until today.
I didnt’ need to hear you for too long to know the kind of person you are or what are your personally.
I just wondering how or where did you learned to speak like the way you do.
Because you are are not white, and that is obvious, I would like to invite you to take a walk around or drive in Arizona and see and feel in your own skin the racism that exist [sic] in that state. I really would like you to experience first hand the racial prejudice. I would like you to feel how does it feel to be discrimated [sic] for the simple reason of the color of your skin.
Take a walk in Arizona. By yourself. Because you are not white no matter how hard you try to be white, you will never be white . no matter how hard you try to speak like a white person. you will never will be one and your father and your mother and sisters and brothers will never be white no matter how hard you try.
You tell me: Who are the real racists?

Dang Filipinos.
Every time we pulled into that country for liberty, I knew there was something different about them.
Just couldn’t put my finger on it …
- jwb7605 | 04/29/2010 @ 06:53jwb7605,
you mean…you can’t surely mean…they are not black?
- pdwalker | 04/29/2010 @ 08:31Like MM my sister in law is Filipino, born and raised there…then immigrated here…legally. Imagine that. She must be a racist too.Huh.
- tim | 04/29/2010 @ 10:28I was surprised to see the from- name on that email: ruben_baruch
- vvp39 | 04/29/2010 @ 11:41Frankly I hope Malkin takes him up on that challenge. Presumably she’s already been to Arizona many times, but I hope she heads on down there again, “takes a walk” and actually seeks out some of the people who support the new immigrant law.
And then, predictably, reports on her blog that they are A) not racists, B) in fact very nice people and C) simply want to see the law enforced and D) not welcome of people who are not supposed to be here regardless of their color.
I rattled on last night with a long list of things I’m tired of, all related to the subject of anti-Christian bigotry. Well, here’s something else I’m sick of: immigration being made into a racial issue. That’s horse puckey and I think even the Latino rights groups know it.
The fact that many of the immigrants now coming to the US, legally and otherwise, are of one particular color, is of absolutely no concern to me, and I suspect, of no concern to 99% of people who share my view that the border needs to be secured and the laws enforced. In fact, they are NOT all of one color – some of them are in fact whiter than I am (Slavs and others from the former USSR) – but it doesn’t matter a whit even if 100% of them are exactly the same shade and all of them in fact came from this Hispanic country or that one.
The racial angle is nothing but a smokescreen and as always, I resent the Left’s disgusting attempt to deflect attention from the real issues.
