Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
With regard to these hard-left barking moonbats…
…as long as we’re overhauling our health care system, is there some plan within that overhaul to get them the help that they need? And in the meantime they’re not being entrusted with any actual responsibilities, are they? Are they being kept away from sharp objects? If they have money, is it being kept in trust somewhere so it can be managed by someone more competent?
I worry about all this adrenaline being channeled into saying foolish things to “prove” personal, inner decency. From where does the necessity arise? What did these people do to create such a giant sinkhole of guilt?
They are incomplete people. They need help.
Hat tip to Boortz.

Hey, where was the Nuge’s response!?
I think Mr. Bordain just alienated a bunch of his audience. We watch him, or we have. I figured he was a liberal, but he just called me an angry white racist with nothing to back it up. That, understandably, pisses me off. So now I’m angry. And I’m still white. But I’m still looking around for the “racist” bit. Nope. Can’t find it.
Here’s the subtext of what I heard him say:
I haven’t been to a Tea Party, but I’m reading this book about the assasination of Martin Luther King, JR back 40 years ago, and there was this racist southern Democrat that ran for president as an independent … also about 40 years ago, and I think that these people are a bunch of angry white people like those people were.
With exactly … what???? to back it up????
- philmon | 05/24/2010 @ 11:19I should add that on one of Bourdain’s “No Reservations” episodes, he visited Ted Nugent’s ranch and seemed to have a good time with him.
There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.
- philmon | 05/24/2010 @ 11:27Put a ball gag in Bourdain’s mouth and I’d ride him all night long.
He’s super hot, Morgan.
- Daphne | 05/24/2010 @ 17:01Ok, Daphne, now I don’t feel so bad about Bonnie Raitt.
On the other hand, my wife and I feel a bit put off by Mr. Bourdain right now.
- philmon | 05/24/2010 @ 20:07Phil, his ideological mind pisses me off on a right regular basis and I don’t care.
The body wants what it wants. The man is so smoking fine he should be labeled a hazard.
