Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
Kate at Small Dead Animals links to Jim Treacher:
I haven’t had this much fun ridiculing a dog-eating president since the last dog-eating president, who was… Hmm. Let me get back to you on that one. I guess everything Obama does is historic!
As for our moral, ethical, and intellectual superiors in the Democratic Party who don’t appreciate this one bit, here’s a question:
If you don’t want to talk about dogs, why did you bring up dogs?
Now: Add up the number of days you’ve yammered about Romney’s dog. Take that sum and add 1. Find a calendar, count out that number of days from today, and mark the date. That’s the day I’ll consider not hurting your feelings anymore by bringing up the fact that Obama eats dogs.
Or November 7, 2012. Whichever comes first.
“A day will come when I stop enjoying this. Today is not that day.” That all by itself is nearly good enough for a BSIHORL. And the tweet scores a direct bulls-eye.

Reposting what I put over at Gerard’s place:
A bartender noticed former President Obama sitting morosely at the end of the bar and asked, “Why so blue, sir?”
“Well,” he said, “I killed Osama bin Laden but am I remembered as a great military leader? No.”
He continued, “I appointed two of the most left-wing judges to the Supreme Court but am I remembered as the man who tilted the scales of justice? No.”
The President raised his hands in exasperation and shouted, “I signed the legislation that radically transformed the relationship between the American citizen and the government, but am I remembered as the champion of the poor? No!”
And as he looked sullenly back down at his drink, he mumbled, “But you eat one stupid dog…”
