Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
I am not morganovich, but s/he speaks for me…
…interesting to see that the left takes in 76% of the top 20’s money, then spend their time vilifying the re[p]ublicans for selling out to ” large special interests”.
[T]hat’s pretty astounding hypocrisy.
Hat tip to Linkiest.

But you know, “morganovich” would make a nice commie alter-ego.

- cylarz | 08/18/2011 @ 22:12Was anyone else made sick to his stomach by Warren Buffet going out there and saying that he wanted the government to stop “coddling” people like him?
Just made me want to vomit…or at least stand up and scream at the guy, “If you’re not paying enough in taxes, Warren, then feel free to make a gift to the public treasury any freaking time you like!” The rest of us, even many of the so-called ‘rich,’ are trying to feed our families, put gas in our cars, and keep our businesses from going under in the Obama Recession. The last freaking thing we need is some self-righteous nitwit going in front of the cameras and giving our idiotic, money-grubbing politicians a bunch of ideas about raising our taxes and cutting out the loopholes in the tax code or whatever the hell he was talking about.
The guy’s a billionaire. The government could confiscate 80% of what he has or of what he makes in a year, and he’d still be in the top 1%. Many of the rest of us make a couple hundred thousand a year – or more precisely, our businesses do – but taxes, salaries and overhead and marketing and countless other things come out of that money, and we might get to keep a nickel out of each dollar. The last thing we need is that nickel being taken from us, too.
Seriously, I’d like to throw a banana cream pie at him. What an asshole.
