Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
The guys on the radio are criticizing Glorious Leader for his speeches. Specifically, that his Monday speech about the Christmas bombing sets up an unmistakable aura of “investigation is ongoing, nobody rush to a judgment about anything” and the Tuesday speech contradicts that directly with the “systemic failure” theme. (Hat tip to Rick for the link to the Tuesday speech and to Another Black Conservative for the Monday speech.)
I’m currently missing links to the slobbering pundits commanding us all to believe the Tuesday speech was the BEST OBAMA SPEECH EVAR!! Also, to the same regarding the Monday speech. I’m sure both are out there. Oceana is at war with EurAsia, Oceana has always been at war with EurAsia.
Perhaps the time has come to just face up to it: A speech is the answer to everything. Has life really been that simple, all this time?
Or is Obama an even bigger of an empty-suit failure than He has been made out to be?

You know, if I was a suspicious sort of person, I might detect a pattern in your argument.
- smitty1e | 12/30/2009 @ 07:37It’s funny how the Left insists on repeatedly trying “solutions” that fail to address the problem they’re supposed to solve, even as they immediately rule-out solutions that would, in fact, effectively tackle the issue.
Gun control. Taxes and how they affect the economy. Socialization of health care. Foreign policy and when to resort to military action. Returning people from dependency to work. Energy. Education.
The list goes on and on. When what you’re doing doesn’t work, do it again ten times harder. When someone else says, “If you’d only try…” wave that person off and call him an idiot.
The leftist mind at work.
- cylarz | 12/31/2009 @ 02:45There is some irony here: The faithful liberal does not believe in “evolution.” In fact, he believes in “religion” instead, to the extent where his goodness as a liberal can be measured, he believes, in terms of his faith to the religion.
The policy of refusing to use the word “terrorism” didn’t evolve out of anything. And in an environment operating by survival-of-the-fittest, the idea of a “Stimulus Bill” would become extinct quicker than anything…
