Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
…supporting suckage…
Think of Travis Smiley as the anti Clint Eastwood, I guess…when someone is completely screwing it all up, we have to hang on?
Wonder what Commander Spock would think of this.
Hat tip to Chicks on the Right.

Well, sure, makes perfect sense. “Republicans are Worse!” is the postulate you do not posses, leading to the confusion. Without that, why be a member of the Jim Crow party, the party that put the dogs on little girls? (Mind, the examples given, when you ask for one, are so, so sad. One guy I know will not let go of his story, and it isn’t even his! “A black WWII ace pilot tried to get a job at an airline, dropped off his resume, and when he came back for his hat, he found the secretary had throw it into the trashcan!”. Ok, proof that there are lasy, jerk secretaries, right? Nope, proof that America is irrevocably Racist!, and why he is going to vote for the Democrats, until the Republicans admit it. Sigh.)
- Robert Mitchell Jr. | 10/14/2013 @ 10:05He starts out – “Let me ask you a question very forthrightly.” And follows with multiple statements. Huh?
He then proceeds to declare congress is acting “unconstitutionally”. Double huh?
Forget the part about supporting suckage, this dude is just too damn dumb to appear on Fox News. Full stop.
- tim | 10/15/2013 @ 06:31They do that all the time. I like the idea of calling it “dumb,” but it isn’t going to stick.
I’m really not sure why. It certainly doesn’t look smart.
Neither does going on record supporting suckage.
- mkfreeberg | 10/15/2013 @ 07:57For some reason (=liberals), hypocrisy has become the top — the only — vice in America. So we have people stupidly clinging to their idiot first impressions no matter what, because I guess adults no longer change their minds when presented with new information. Yay maturity.
Libs have internalized a concept behavioral psychologists and ad men use. There’s a study somewhere where they asked people to put a giant “drive safely!” billboard in their front yards. Naturally, almost everybody refused. Then they asked a different group to put a small little sign with the same message in the corner of their front windows. A lot of people agreed. Then they came back a month later and asked the same people to put up the billboard. The majority of those who had put up the little sign now agreed to host the giant billboard. The theory is, they now see themselves as public advocates of safer driving, so they have no choice but to consistently display their values.
That’s why libs are always on Facebook and other such sites, posting gassy bromides about undefinable concepts and asking you to “like.” After that, how can you not support Obamacare? After all, you “like” social justice….
This Smiley idiot went public with his support of Obama, because of course he did. Now he’s stuck, because we’ve been training people for 40 years that only their self-esteem matters.
[ PS I think they did that study in the late 70s, at the start of the Age of Narcissism. I wonder how it would turn out now?]
