Alarming News: I like Morgan Freeberg. A lot.
American Digest: And I like this from "The Blog That Nobody Reads", because it is -- mostly -- about me. What can I say? I'm on an ego trip today. It won't last.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: We were following a trackback and thinking "hmmm... this is a bloody excellent post!", and then we realized that it was just part III of, well, three...Damn. I wish I'd written those.
Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler: ...I just remembered that I found a new blog a short while ago, House of Eratosthenes, that I really like. I like his common sense approach and his curiosity when it comes to why people believe what they believe rather than just what they believe.
Brutally Honest: Morgan Freeberg is brilliant.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier: Morgan Freeberg at House of Eratosthenes (pftthats a mouthful) honors big boned women in skimpy clothing. The picture there is priceless--keep scrolling down.
Exile in Portales: Via Gerard: Morgan Freeberg, a guy with a lot to say. And he speaks The Truth...and it's fascinating stuff. Worth a read, or three. Or six.
Just Muttering: Two nice pieces at House of Eratosthenes, one about a perhaps unintended effect of the Enron mess, and one on the Gore-y environ-movie.
Mein Blogovault: Make "the Blog that No One Reads" one of your daily reads.
The Virginian: I know this post will offend some people, but the author makes some good points.
Poetic Justice: Cletus! Ah gots a laiv one fer yew...
The 124th award for BSIHORL (Best Sentence I’ve Heard Or Read Lately) goes to one of my Facebook friends who commented in an explosive thread about the right wing’s so-called war on women.
It is a statement for the season, and context is entirely unnecessary:
I don’t see how “not paying for” is the same as “restricting access to.”
Lest you be wondering, no, as far as I know this inquiry was never directly answered.
She has discovered the Flukeness. Resistance against buying something & distributing it for free, is on par with making sure people can’t get it.

Whoever Christina is, I’d like to buy her a drink. That gal is A-OK. I’m reminded yet again of why I love conservative women so much – she’s articulate, she’s quick, she’s civil, she’s got the facts on her side.
Three liberal men horsing around, laughing, deploying strawmen, calling names, making unfounded assertions, confusing opinion with fact. Color me utterly surprised. This gal has more command of the core issues than those three put together. She’s dead-serious and they keep moving the goalposts and going around and around when they’ve clearly lost the argument. It’s yet another reminder of why I dislike the Left and its inhabitants so intensely. They’re dishonest.
I especially like how she brought up the way feminists have been telling us men that we’re “not allowed” to have an opinion on this. I don’t buy into that, not for a second. First of all, birth control and abortion DO affect me…and in any case I’m not going to be shut up or told my views don’t matter on something just because I happen to have been born with testicles.
It’s good to see another woman challenging that nonsense, especially in the vein of throwing it in the faces of three left-wingers who don’t get it.
- cylarz | 03/16/2012 @ 01:08Christian right politics. The right is waging war on women. The right wants to ban birth control. The right is alienating women.
These people actually believe the lies that are told about us, day after day after day. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that elections are actually influenced by this kind of bull.
- cylarz | 03/16/2012 @ 01:29Allow me to park my head in the toilet, which I what I do to think like a Lefty:
1. The government provides access all the milk and honey of life.
2. The government requires loot to pay for the milk and honey.*
3. Refusal to poney up the loot constitutes a milk and honey access restriction.
*Given our non-approach to producing budgets, much less balancing them, I think that there may be a perpetual loot machine somewhere, and taxes are really about controlling people more than legitimately funding government functions.
This toilet is drowning me. I must eject.
